This is the all-weather Polytrack at Corbould Park, laid beside the Sunshine Coast's turf course and racing as a venue in its own right since the early twenty-twenties. A synthetic surface holds up through weather that would put a grass meeting in doubt, so the calendar here survives rain that moves racing elsewhere — and form from the turf track next door does not read straight across.
