Port Lincoln races on Boston Bay, right down on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula and a long way from Adelaide by road. The club moved to this site after the war, and the course is a small one with a short run home, so the tempo tends to matter more than the turn of foot. Its Cup carnival at the end of summer is the meeting the town plans around.
