Pinjarra Park, south of Perth, has raced since the eighteen-nineties and rebuilt its circuit in the late two-thousands with wider, more cambered turns. Its real distinction is rarer than that: a long straight-course chute lets it stage genuinely straight races, which only one other track in the country — Flemington — can also do. The Pinjarra Cup is its own feature day.
