Towac Park has been Orange's racecourse since the eighteen-seventies, a few kilometres out of the town in the central west of New South Wales, and its timber grandstand, pavilion and entry are all heritage-listed. The course proper is a big, fully grassed circuit with a long and wide home straight, which gives a horse coming from behind somewhere to run.
