Nowra, on the south coast, is a heart-shaped circuit rather than a plain oval — a real shape, not a marketing phrase, and it changes how tempo builds through the turns compared with a symmetrical track. The course, also known locally as Archer Racecourse, is roomy enough for full fields and a genuinely long run home.
