Murwillumbah races on the Tweed, in the far north of NSW, close to the interstate border, on a symmetrical circuit fed by chutes for the shorter and middle trips. The Tweed River Jockey Club runs only a modest handful of meetings a year, and the Murwillumbah Cup is by some distance the biggest of them.
