Mount Gambier, officially the Allan Scott Glenburnie course, has one genuinely famous feature: the Dog Leg, a kink in the home straight rather than a clean run to the post. A horse well placed as the track bends there can lose momentum it never quite gets back, which makes the section a bigger factor in the finish than its size suggests.
