Flemington is one of the longest circuits in the country, at Flemington, Victoria, and the only major Australian course with a true straight track — the Straight Six, a six-furlong chute run without a turn, which makes it a sprinting venue unlike any other here. The round course has a long run home as well, so this is a track where a horse is rarely beaten by the shape of the place. It is Turf, run anticlockwise, and nationally heritage-listed.
