Albury sits on the Murray river, at the southern edge of the state, and the club administering it today traces back to eighteen-fifty-five, one of the oldest in NSW. It is a fair track by any standard — a big circuit with a long home straight that rises slightly at the end, so a horse rarely loses here for lack of room.

It is a country course run clockwise. We hold 135 races from the track, with fields averaging 9.9 runners and 1175 metres the most commonly programmed trip. D.L.Scott has 11 wins from 71 runners, and Hells Spirit has won 4 of 10 starts.
